Robert Winker, age 75 of Lanesboro, IA, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at his home in Lanesboro.   Robert Dean was born on September 3, 1948, to parents LeRoy and Myrtle (Frazier) Winker in Carroll, IA.  He grew up in Lanesboro where he attended school.

On September 3, 1966, Robert was united in marriage to Donna Lynn Johnson in Lake City, IA.  This union was blessed with two children: Rex and Kevin.  Robert worked at the elevator and did construction.  In his free time, Robert loved being outdoors.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and trapping.

Those left to cherish is memory include his children Rex (Zacharina) Winker of Churdan, IA, and Kevin Winker of Lanesboro, IA; grandchildren: Emily Winker of Lake City, IA, and Hunter Winker of Lanesboro, IA; siblings: Marilyn DeSart of Lanesboro, IA, Bill (Diane) Winker of Loveland, CO, Karen (Bob) Wiggs of Milford, IA, Kathy Tech of Denison, IA, Ricky (Julie) Winker of Benson, AZ, Diane (Lon) Allen of Emmetsburg, IA, Jolene (Joe) George of Coon Rapids, IA, Rodney (Rene) Winker of Sac City, IA; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Donna Winker, parents LeRoy and Myrtle, brother Ronnie, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
