Robin D. Mullinix, age 70, of Pocahontas, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at his home near Pocahontas, Iowa, surrounded by his family.

Robin David Mullinix was born June 25, 1953, in Canton, South Dakota. He was the son of Howard and Madonna (Hoffey) Mullinix. Robin was educated in Canton, SD grade schools then went on to attend high school in Artesia, California.  He worked in construction for several years with Morton Buildings where he traveled extensively working on various building projects. He then settled in Pocahontas where he worked as a custodian at the Pocahontas Area Schools where he retired after many years of service.

Robin enjoyed restoring vehicles, camping with family and friends and tinkering with engines. He also made amazing woodworking projects.

Survivors include his beloved Rhonda Vosberg of Pocahontas; children, Josh (Jody) Mullinix of Waverly, Sarah (Nick) Meyer of Texhoma, TX, Shelby (Jeremiah) Mallard of Goodwell, OK and Tiffany Doerr of Rapid City, SD; 10 grandchildren, Cody Rindels, Lucas Rindels, Dawson Mullinix, Jayce Mullinix, Hunter Meyer, Hayden Meyer, KayLeigha Mullinix, Kylee Hernandez, Ethan Myers and Cameron Doerr and a brother, Mike (Valerie) Mullinix of Humboldt.

Robin was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronald Mullinix and sisters, Marsha Ingebretson, Marilee Mullinix and Gayle Mullinix.
