Ruth E. Marazoff – age 90, of Pocahontas, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 3 years to the day as her beloved husband of 69 years, Kenneth, at the MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Ruth Emily Plude was born on July 19, 1932, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Cecil and Anna (LaFrance) Plude. She attended high school in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On September 2, 1950, Ruth was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kenneth Marazoff, Sr. at the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Bridgeport, CT. Ken and Ruth raised their 12 children in Stratford, Connecticut. Ruth worked as a real estate Broker, owning her own Real Estate Agency called Family Realty, for many years. In the mid 1980's they moved to Swanzey, New Hampshire where Ruth worked for Peerless Insurance. In 2000, Ken and Ruth moved to Pocahontas. Ken passed away in 2019 and Ruth continued to make her home in Pocahontas.

Ruth enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, sewing and was known for her delicious pies. In later years she enjoyed making "Nice" spaghetti dinners for her family and Ruth especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Linda (Scot) Philp, Robin (Pete) Demetri, Karen Soukup, Kenneth Marazoff Jr, Steven (Fran) Marazoff, Wendy (Leo) Mundus, Donna (Gregg) White, David Marazoff, Lori Wandishion, Pamela (Ray) Britton, Sandra Adamchuk and Andrew (Lisa) Marazoff; 28 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Betty (John) McKeown, Ann Biebel, Gladys Keyes and Lillian Osborn and a brother, Ronald (Rosanne) Plude. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth and 9 siblings.
