Sharon K. Garner, age 83, of Pocahontas, met her Lord and Savior on September 5, 2024.

Sharon Kay Colee was born in Havelock, Iowa, the daughter of Stanley and Isabelle (Hacker) Colee. She graduated from Havelock High School in 1959. Sharon worked at Bankers Life in Des Moines for a few years, then moved to Omaha, Nebraska to work at Omaha National Bank in the mortgage loan department. Omaha is where she found her future husband, Richard Garner. They were married on July 17, 1965, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mallard, Iowa. On July 17, 2024, they celebrated their 59th anniversary. From Omaha, the couple moved a few times and finally settled in Pocahontas, Iowa in 2001.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Garner of Pocahontas; sisters, Chris Campidilli of Humboldt, Delores Wade of Henderson, NV, Nancy (Darrel) Reed of Ayrshire, Pam Colee of Fonda and Judy (Rick) Krips of Havelock and a brother, Alvin Colee of Havelock.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Isabelle Colee; her older brother, Garry Colee and brothers-in-law, Jim Wade and Bob Campidilli.

Sharon will be missed by all.
