Thomas R. Oxenreider - age 48, of Laurens, Iowa passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Thomas Ross Oxenreider was born on January 11, 1972, in Des Moines, Iowa. He was the son of Dennis and Joanne (Oberender) Oxenreider. He was educated at Milo and Ankeny schools. On October 18, 1997, Tom was united in marriage to Tammy Swanson in Laurens. The couple settled in Laurens where Tom worked as a CNC operator at Fischer Hydraulics and then for Bobalee Hydraulics. He then worked as an Inventory Control Analyst at Jack Links in Laurens.

Tom was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church and the NRA. He really enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He loved playing board games with his family and playing catch in their backyard. He loved to play on the play station with his kids. He treasured his families' hugs dearly.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy; children, Riley and Shawn all of Laurens; mother, Joanne (Gary) Douglas of West Des Moines; sisters, Michelle (Ron) Phipps of Overbrook, KS and Beth (Mat) Miner of Indianola and grandmother, Donna Oberender.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Oxenreider.
