Timi M. Bales  -  age 72, of  Pomeroy, passed away on Monday, August 10th, 2020, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Timi Marie Rodgers was born on August 4th, 1948 in Storm Lake, Iowa. She was the daughter of LuVerne and Dorothy (Mason) Rodgers. She graduated from Albert City High School and went on to attend community college in Sioux City. On July 5th, 1968 Timi was united in marriage to Donald "Red" Bales in Storm Lake. The couple had 3 children, Terry, Dustin, and Jenny. They lived in Newell where Timi operated a daycare center. In the early 1980's they moved to Pomeroy and Timi continued to operate her daycare center, retiring in 2012. Don passed away in August of 2012 and Timi continued to make her home in Pomeroy.

Timi was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working on puzzles and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Terry Bales and Dustin (Val) Bales of Pomeroy; daughter, Jenny (Tim) Welander of Pomeroy and granddaughters Macey (Will) Friedrichsen of Sutherland and Morgan Bales of Pomeroy.

Timi was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald "Red" Bales.
