Todd Gardewine, age 65, of Rolfe, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Ronald Todd Roger Gardewine was born on November 28, 1960, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Ronald and Nancy (Hanrahan) Gardewine. Todd graduated from Rolfe High School in 1979. He went on to Iowa State University and graduated from their two-year Ag Program in 1981.  Following his education, Todd returned to Rolfe where he farmed with his father, Ronald. Together they raised crops, hogs and fed cattle. On June 28, 1997, Todd was united in marriage to Jennifer DeLong at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Rolfe, Iowa. The couple settled near Rolfe where they farmed and raised their family.

Todd was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, following college basketball and playing cards with friends. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed feeding cattle and raising horses. Todd's greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Rolfe; children, Mady (Austin) Blair of Lake City, Levi (Cady) Gardewine of Gilmore City, Ben Gardewine of Rolfe, Emily Gardewine of Rembrandt and Avery Gardewine of Rolfe; 6 grandchildren, Bo, Chet, El, Georgia, Tucker and Ruby; sisters, Melody Jarrard of Pocahontas, Melissa Gardewine of Pocahontas and Melinda (Scott) Altman of Sheboygan Falls, WI; mother-in-law, Joanne DeLong of Waukee; brother-in-law, Jeffrey DeLong of Waukee and many nieces & nephews.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Keith Jarrard and father-in-law, Larry DeLong.
