Warren G. Hawk – age 78, of Irving, Texas, formerly of Laurens, Iowa, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, in Arlington, Texas.

Warren George Hawk was born on July 9, 1946, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Melvin and Edna (Wilson) Hawk. Warren graduated from Laurens High School in 1964. He served in the United States Air Force for several years during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Japan.  Following his military service, Warren attended Iowa Lakes Community College and then went on to Northwest Missouri State, graduating in 1973, with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  On April 12, 1975, Warren was united in marriage to Debra Bynum in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple lived in Phoenix and then Omaha. Warren later moved to Texas. He settled in Irving and worked for H. & R. Block for eight years. He then worked for the I.R.S. for over twenty years and then as a security guard for several years, retiring in 2012.

Warren was an avid sports fan and held season tickets for many years. He was an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan to name a few. He also followed college and high school sports, including, football, baseball, volleyball and softball

Warren is survived by his brothers, Gene Hawk of Des Moines, Iowa and David Hawk of Irving, Texas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Lloyd Hawk.
