Wendy L. Steinberg - age 61, of Pomeroy, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Wendy Lea Bohn was born November 12, 1960 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was the daughter of Irvin and Diane (McDonald) Bohn. Wendy graduated from the Pomeroy High School in 1979. Following graduation, she attended DMACC in Ankeny for one year. On August 21, 1982, Wendy was united in marriage to Ed Steinberg at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pomeroy, Iowa. The couple settled in Pomeroy, where Wendy babysat for over ten years. In 1994, she began work at Target in Fort Dodge, where she held the position of sales associate for 25 years. She retired in 2019.

Wendy enjoyed reading, being outdoors and days on the beach. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She never missed her grandkid's sporting events.

Survivors include her husband, Ed, of Pomeroy; children, Lacey (David) Shelgren of Pocahontas, Sammy (Randy) Small of Pomeroy and Jake (Lindsey) Steinberg of Indianola; 5 grandchildren and mother, Diane Lenning of Pomeroy.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Irvin; brother, Benjamin Bohn and step-fathers, Gil Hansch and Ed Lenning.
