William "Bill" Vierow – age 61, of Laurens, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

William Clifford Vierow was born on June 13, 1961, in Spirit Lake, Iowa. He was the son of Clifford and Muriel (Hartley) Vierow. He graduated from Laurens-Marathon High School in 1980. He went on to Iowa Central Community College in Emmetsburg for two years. Bill worked in Jefferson as a welder for several years. He then returned to Laurens where he worked unloading trucks at Scrivner Foods and then Fleming Foods. Bill then worked as a welder at Bobalee Hydraulics in Laurens. Bill enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his sisters, Debra Kirsch of Laurens and Annette (Don) Anspach of Fonda and a brother, Leigh Vierow of Urbandale. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Susan Colsrud.
